RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS
If your daughter likes music, dance, tumbling, and creativity, you have to try rhythmic gymnastics. It combines the beauty and artistry of dance with the strength and power of tumbling. No experience is necessary and gymnasts will be placed in appropriate levels as they progress. Girls will fall in love with rhythmic gymnastics through creative dance, fun with apparatus, coordination and flexibility exercises that are interwoven with music.
Gymnasts may wear black leotards or basic black dance clothes. All clothing should allow for free movement and should not be overly baggy. Hair should be pulled back from the face and the neck. We ask that you fill out the contact form to schedule your trial lesson.

Classes are offered September- June. Summer lessons are offered in July. No lessons are offered in August.

Level 1 (4-6 years)
A fun, introductory level rhythmic gymnastics class for 4-6 year olds. This class includes simple stretching exercises, jumping rope, balancing and acrobatics along with basic movements of rhythmic gymnastics, including hand-eye coordination with ball, hoop, rope and ribbon. (60 minute class).

Level 1 (7-10 years)
This beginning level rhythmic gymnastics class for 7-10 year olds is designed to introduce girls to the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. The class focuses on basic body elements (flexibility, balance, jumps & turns), acrobatics (rolls, cartwheels, bridges) and apparatus techniques of rhythmic gymnastics using rope, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon. (60 minute class)

Level 2 (Invitation Only)
The pre-competitive class is for gymnasts that have exemplified the necessary basic gymnastics skills in our recreational program. The class focuses on developing more advanced body elements (flexibility, balance, jumps & turns), acrobatics (rolls, cartwheels, bridges) and apparatus techniques of rhythmic gymnastics using rope, hoop, ball, to prepare for the competitive team. (75 minute class)
